A message thread is a series of messages related to either the main channel topic or another topic started in a parent message.
Is this like a chain of replies in whatsapp?

Can a child in a thread be a parent to another message. A n-ary tree of infinite/ finite depth? What is the depth limit.
There isn’t a depth limit imposed by ChatKitty, but I recommend limiting the depth of threads for most use-cases depending on your application to have a pleasant UI experience.
